Brainstorm Marketing is a company name I chose when MGM Resort execs asked me to incorporate in order enter into long term contract work with them back in 2006. In spite of all the casinos having their own graphics departments they flooded me with more work than I could handle. Primarily for Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay casino properties for six years I did email blast creatives and coding, web design, Flash animation of mostly collateral hospitality and entertainment offers.
One of the most enjoyable stints I ever had was a couple years at Clear Channel for radio station web site design and general music industry promotions. A lot of station logo flash animation…. Clear Channel owned most of the radio stations in the world and us designers would compete mockups for the top market radio stations; like, I won the largest east coast station at the time “Z100” in New York with “Elliot” in the morning… was the biggest market in the world.
A more recent stint was at Growthmed with hundreds of clients mostly in the plastic surgery industry. For 2 years as a graphic designer doing websites, Mailchimp generic eblasts, HTML/CSS custom aesthetic adjustments within a WordPress custom page builder.
I am proficient with the core Adobe CC apps including video / audio editing and HTML/CSS responsive.
A product of mixed races I grew up in Beverly Hills pretty much pre culturally diversified. My family raise show dogs which provided unique travel opps amongst animal loving crazy people which in turn lead to penchant for all things Photography and Visual graphics. Gutenberg archival to digital. A Santa Monica High School, Santa Monica City College, UCLA Extension grad I focused on Photography, Photojournalism and Graphics and after working for Law firms creating exhibit boards I immediately became head of graphics department at of Skilled Nursing.com at the digital age evolved and so I’m self taught before there were any accredited courses beyond the manuals. I have been using Photoshop before it had layers and ahead of the curve versed enough to be teaching HTML to ASP programers to more recent PHP
From Skilled Nursing I was recruited by Enigma Digital for KNAC and Groove radio stations and from there Clear Channel recruited me to do design work for major radio station markets and leading music industry promotions. Lots of Flash work in those days.
